Ingredients for Keto Cheesy Stuffed Sausage

Italian sausage links – Mild, spicy, or sweet—your choice! You want the sausage with the casing on it because you want your sausages to hold together as they bake. You can use mild Italian sausages, hot Italian sausages, or even Bratwurst.
Mozzarella cheese sticks – Any cheese sticks will work. Try pepper jack, colby, or even cheddar cheese sticks in your cheese-stuffed sausage. Or swap in your favorite melty cheese.
Marinara sauce – Any marinara sauce will work. I love using this tomato sauce. Use sugar-free if you’re keeping it keto.
How to Make Cheesy Stuffed Italian Sausage
Step 1: Prep the Sausages
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Use a sharp knife to carefully slice each sausage lengthwise, being careful not to cut all the way through.

Step 2: Stuff with Cheese
Open the sausages slightly. Unwrap each cheese stick and insert it into the slit of the sausage.

Step 3: Add Sauce & Bake
Place the stuffed sausages in a greased baking dish. Spoon marinara sauce over the top and sprinkle with some garlic powder. Then bake for 25–30 minutes, covered, or until the sausages are fully cooked and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
