- Milk – this is optional. I like to add milk to my eggs and then pour it over the hash browns and kielbasa.
- Cheese – any shredded cheese that you love will work for this recipe.
- Seasoning – salt and pepper and Bulgarian savory spice is all you need for this recipe. It can be purchased in most international food stores as well as online here.
How to make this easy casserole with hash brown patties, eggs, and kielbasa
Start by arranging the frozen hash brown patties on the bottom of a greased baking 9×13 casserole dish in a single layer. Diced the kielbasa and layer it evenly on top of the hashbrown patties.
Whisk together the eggs, milk, and seasoning. Por it over the hashbrown patties and kielbasa. Sprinkle it evenly with the cheese. Bake until the eggs are set, the cheese is melted, and everything is golden brown.

Hash Brown Egg Casserole with Kielbasa
Ingredients
- 8 frozen hash brown patties
- 8 large eggs
- 1 cup of milk whole or 2%
- 1 pkg smoked kielbasa sausage already cooked cubed, or sliced
- 1.5 cup shredded provolone cheese any cheese of your choice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Savory spice linked above, optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- Arrange frozen hash brown patties in the dish, in a single layer.
- Cube or slice (half-moon) the kielbasa and layer evenly on top of the hashbrowns.
- In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, the milk, and the seasoning.
- Pour evenly over the hashbrowns and kielbasa.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese. Add as much or as little as you want.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until the eggs have set and the top is golden brown.
