- 2- pounds Italian sausage links approximately 10 links – any other fresh sausage will also work for this recipe
- 1- pound potatoes 6-10 medium potatoes, or as many as can fit in one layer in your baking pan
- 1 beer 12 ounces bottle
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon Savory spice optional
- 1 cup water
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
You can peel the potatoes or not, the recipe works great either way. Cut the potatoes into wedges (1-inch wedges).
Arrange the sausage links in a deep baking dish.
Arrange the potatoes in a single layer in between the sausage until the pan is covered.
Add the spices.
Pour the beer (the whole bottle) and then add the water to just cover the potatoes.
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes. Then turn each sausage so that the paler side is now up.
Then bake for another 20 minutes until everything is golden brown.
